My Newborn Just Went Through 784 Diapers. Here’s what happened.

I’m a sucker for data. I suffer from a disposition that Dominic Basulto coined thus:

The datasexual looks a lot like you and me, but what’s different is their preoccupation with personal data. They are relentlessly digital, they obsessively record everything about their personal lives, and they think that data is sexy.

I don’t fully identify with that epithet… but I am obsessed with data!

Today I’ve got some fantastic dimensions and measures for you. I mean what’s sexier than dirty diapers? Well, breasts for one thing. We’re gonna do both today!

Today I take you into the data-rich life of my then 5-month old. Not the cute videos and pics (she is mezmorizingly adorable). Rather, I’m talking about day-in / day out of nursing and diapers… the unending tasks bestowed upon every new parent.

My 4th child was born late April of this 2017. Jenny indulged me in logging all of this data FOR 5 MONTHS STRAIGHT! We used a great app called BabyTime. We logged the type of diaper change…
